October 25, 2018 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, announces a global distribution agreement with BJB Electric, a lighting technology company that supplies innovative solutions to the lighting and domestic appliance industries worldwide. Through the agreement, the BJB product line at Mouser will include BJB's SMD terminal blocks, COB connectors and reflectors, and Starboard holders and connectors.

BJB Electric's SMD terminal blocks enable easy implementation of individual luminaire designs. Intended for use with both solid and flexible conductors, the surface-mounted terminal blocks are available in single- or double-pole configurations in Mini, Mini-Flex, Nano, and Push-through models. The blocks are made from a glass-fiber filled Polyphthalamide (PPA-GF) based compound, offering improved durability and performance compared to traditional engineering thermoplastics.

COB connectors and reflectors from BJB Electric offer easy and durable installation of chip-on-board (COB) LED modules. Designed for a wide range of COB modules, the high-strength components feature push wire technology, blue-light-resistant plastics, and corrosion- and wear-resistant contact materials. Wire entry on one or both sides of the connectors, embedded contacts with silver-plated contact points, and pre-assembly fixing springs facilitate automated assembly processes. BJB Electric's extensive range of reflector and optics accessories enable luminaire manufacturers to quickly and easily assemble finished modules for spot and downlights.

BJB Electric starboard holders and connectors enable easy implementation of starboard-based LED displays. Designed to be solder-free, these components ensure that there is no lifespan reduction due to thermal impact on the LEDs. Single push-wire terminals accept both solid and flexible conductors, and the holders also feature top test ports for final testing after assembly. Compatible with a wide range of LED starboards from leading LED manufacturers, the holders and connectors allow for flexibility, rapid prototyping, and simplified installation.
