productronica fast forward 2021, the start-up platform powered by Elektor is a worldwide start-up competition. By submitting the application form, the candidate agrees to the following terms and conditions.

Participation
Innovators from every corner of the world may apply to this contest. All participants must register by submitting a description of their company and products at https://www.elektormagazine.com/p-fast-forward-2021.
Please make sure that the information you submit is as comprehensive as possible and allows the judging panel to get a clear understanding of your start-up, technology, product, and/or services. All proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the judging panel. Out of all participants 20 finalists will be selected and highlighted on the official competition page. Out of the 20 finalists 3 winners will be selected and will be shown during the productronica 2021. The winner will be given the option to participate either physically or via broadcasting. If the winner decides to be there physically a contest fee of €599,00 has to be paid. 

All existing Start-Up companies are eligible, providing the company was founded within the last 6 years. Note that only complete submissions will be judged. Incomplete or unreadable entries will not be considered. One start-up can only submit one application. The application must be made online before the deadline. The productronica fast forward event will take place in English. Please submit your information, company details, etc. in English to be considered by the jury. If you are selected as a finalist and participate in the virtual productronica fast forward finals, note that you must present your company and technology in English.​ The closing date for participation is November 1st, 2021. Anyone in the field of electronics can submit an application and apply free of charge. To participate at the booth a contest fee of €599,00 has to be paid. 

Publishing and Promotion
By submitting the application form, the applicant agrees that the information about the company, the short and long description of the start-up, technology, product, and/or services, as well as any photos submitted to Elektor and the productronica Trade Fair in relation to the applications, documentation, and reporting of the “productronica fast forward 2021, the Start-up Platform powered by Elektor” may be used publicly by Elektor in print and on the internet.
 
The copyright will remain the property of the start-up. Furthermore, the applicant agrees to inform Elektor of any important news regarding the start-up or its technology for 24 months following the competition so Elektor can update its partners/readers. 
 
In the event that any video and/or sound recordings are carried out during the awards ceremony, the candidate filing out this application agrees that such recordings may be used for the purposes of reporting and/or public relations for the “productronica fast forward 2021, the Start-up Platform powered by Elektor” and for promotional purposes for Elektor and the productronica Trade Fair without compensation, and these recordings may be published and made publicly available on the internet.


Prizes
The “marketing packages” offered to winners by Elektor include ads, news coverage, and promotion through Elektor’s various print and digital channels: print magazine ads, online banners, email promotions, social media, news coverage, and advertorials. All prices are listed in Elektor’s 2021 Media Kit. The marketing budget is valid until the 31st of December 2022.

Elektor collects and stores your data within the framework of your participation in productronica fast forward 2021 - the start-up platform powered by Elektor. To enable assessment of your submission, Elektor will share your data (company name, first name, surname, and email address) with productronica Trade Fair and the members of the jury for productronica fast forward 2021 - the start-up platform powered by Elektor. Your email address can also be used to provide you with information about the products and services of Elektor, productronica Trade Fair and the sponsors (jury members) of the event.
