Test Driving the Photon UV Resin DLP 3D Printer
on
Digital Light Processing (DLP) is a 3D printing process that employs ultraviolet light to solidify a special liquid or resin. It is much more affordable than laser-based techniques like stereolithography (SLA). Compared with PLA filament printers, the rendering of surfaces obtained with polymerized resin is spectacularly better.
We tried out a DLP resin 3D printer in the Elektor lab.
