Members of the electronics scene meet every two years at productronica, which takes place alternately with its big sister, electronica, at the Munich exhibition center. As the name "productronica" suggests, the event's main focus from November 16 to 19 will be on electronics production, from component selection and procurement to circuit board production to assembly and packaging. This year, the chip shortage and possible solutions will be a hot topic. But that's not all. Start-up innovation — the productronica Fast Forward winners — and ethical electronics (WEEF 2021) will figure prominently at the event.

Visit Elektor at productronica 2021

Will you attend productronica 2021 in Munich? If so, head over to booth A1.420, where my Elektor colleague Mathias Claußen will show you the latest projects from our laboratory. After a long Corona break, you will have the first opportunity to personally chat with our team and to present your own ideas!

productronica Fast Forward Finalists and Winners

For the the past few years, Elektor has organized the Fast Forward Startup Awards at the electronica and productronica events, together with Messe Munich. There are special start-ups at productronica that are involved in the production of electronics. Want to learn about the 2021 productronica Fast Forward finalists and winners? In Munich, you will have the opportunity to get to know them and to learn about exciting new technologies.

WEEF 2021

The industry is also increasingly concerned with climate change, sustainability, and ethical issues in general (e.g., humane work conditions and AI ethics). Together with productronica and the Elektronikpraxis, Elektor is organizing the pioneer World Ethical Electronics Forum (WEEF) at productronica. We cordially invite you to attend exciting lectures and interesting technical discussions on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The current WEEF program is now available. If you won't be in Munich on November 18, you can attend the enter event online (registration now).
