Here One from San Francisco based Doppler Labs is claimed to be the world's first all-in-one wireless listening system.
With two wireless smart buds and an app (what else) Here One combines conventional headphone functionality with smart listening and noise filtering technologies. The Here One is capable accessing Siri or Google Now, streaming music, or layering digital audio over real-world sound.
And yes it can take phone calls, and access voice commands right from your buds. It can remove unwanted noise — such as sirens, a loud CEO, a crying baby, office chatter, and more while still being able to have a conversation. It even does speech amplification so you can tune into every word at a crowded restaurant or party — very important in San Francisco.
As a veritable wearable, Here One is said by its creators to “Remix your world” i.e. transform real-world sound using volume, EQ, and sound effects. Like converting the pitiful sound of a Tesla car into that of a Ferrari. Very useful when you cross an SF street while apping the office you are running a little late for the meeting. Or if you hate the sound at Coachella.
