Tektronix have added to their TBS1000 range of entry-level scopes with three new four-channel 60, 100 and 150 MHz models. They boast a maximum sample rate of 1GS/s with 2% dc gain accuracy down to 2mV/div.

The Company anticipates that these models will be suited to a wide range of test uses including entry level design and debug, teaching environments and quality assurance applications.

Both the existing two-channel and the new four-channel oscilloscopes include a programmatic interface to provide both instrument control and data transfer in the test environment. A waveform logging feature allows users to save waveforms to a USB flash drive. A pass/fail signal mask can also be set up by the user which allows a tolerance band to be assigned to the measured signal and takes action if the signal exceeds the limits.
