The Intelli-Cell Intelligent Rechargeable Battery Analyzer/Charger

Charge, analyze and recondition any type of rechargeable battery of any composition of any voltage from 1.25 to 12 V, 400 mAHr to 5 AHr.
Here is a very smart and reprogrammable rechargeable battery analyzing instrument with a special mounting system to access the terminals of any cell phone battery (including Apple), as well as any other type of battery of any composition or voltage from 1.25 V to 12 V.
It has automatic polarity sensing, heat sensing both on the mounting plate and on the external cable accessory. It can be programmed easily for any composition (NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion, Li-Fe, Lead Acid) and any amp-hour rating from 400 mA to 5000 mA.
All entries are on a membrane keyboard with readouts on a 2x20 character illuminated display. It includes all safety parameters and will not harm any battery if set correctly.
The mounting plate includes fully adjustable pogo contacts with slides and elevator to access any battery contacts, no matter how difficult. The external cable has alligator clips and a sensing thermistor to reach larger batteries or for using the Apple adapter.
It runs on universal worlwide voltages.
Analyzing after charging allows precise mAHr ratings of the battery as well as a quick test that gives percentage quality of the battery in comparison with its labeled ratings.

Schematics are mostly in my mind with specific parts of the circuit hand-drawn (I'm an old-timer) but for the project I have all the pcb gerber & drill files, source and hex codes for the mcu, etc. It is all state-of-the-art with I2C D to A converters and super-efficient power regulators and regulated mosfet power loads under mcu control. You already know what the Intelli-cell looks like; and how it operates is still on the original Intelli-Cell.com website https://intelli-cell.com/products.php for a short time. Understand that this was originally destined to be a production for a client, but that client never paid and unfortunately was murdered (!) in a drug deal gone bad in Gainsville in March so the rights remained with me. Once a contract is signed with Elektor you will have all the technicals you want, but until then understand my rights to keep my hard-earned year-long work my own. It is my last big project before retirement so this means a lot to be.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Dave Miga, EDS Inc.
