Universal Intercom System

Pollux is a Raspberry-Pi-based system to interconnect radios, telephones, intercoms, and audio systems.
Pollux is a modern, easy-to-use and affordable intercom system that connects people. With Pollux users of radios, mobile phones, telephone, public address sytems, intercom, etc. can communicate with eachother in a simple manner.
The system has capabilities of large communication systems for a fraction of the price of these large systems. With use of hardware that is available everywhere in the world, and based on regular available software tools an affordable system is designed and built.
In the attached presentation we describe in more detail the functions.

The IP Technology and the SIP protocol provide an expandable system.
On the moment a total number of 16 (Radios, User Terminal, Phone clients) are defined in the Pollux system.
The management server is used to log on the user terminal or radio interface to the system, settings, user rights, etc are downloaded to the terminals. After download the user terminal can operate without Management server.
Users can request a new configuration via the SETTING Menu in the user terminal
