25th Elektor Academy Webinar—Touchless Gesture Control Interface with Arduino!
We’ve reached our 25th webinar this month and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you! In collaboration with element14, this month’s webinar will demonstrate how to produce a Touchless Gesture Control Interface that can reliably provide three-dimensional co-ordinates (X, Y, and Z axes).
The 3D Pad uses capacitive sensing techniques to enable you to control something without physically touching the controller. An article in Elektor Magazine’s May edition describes the 3D Pad, which is based on work by Jean Noël Lefebvre and was designed together with our Elektor LABS team.
This technology has a myriad of domestic, professional, and recreational applications limited only by your own creativity. This revolutionary kit consists of a sandwich made up of a PCB called an electrode plane, an Arduino Uno, and a shield with control software. We’re inviting you to witness the next step in person/machine interfaces, so don’t miss it. Webinar participation is free-of-charge—all you have to do is register.
The webinar consists of a 30-minute presentation, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. The presenters are Clemens Valens (head of Elektor Labs) and Jean-Noël Lefebvre (designer of the 3D Pad Touchless Gesture Control Interface).
