Affordable Audio Measurements
In this webinar, hardware engineer Alfred Rosenkränzer and Elektor engineer Clemens Valens will show you how to measure audio circuits using free or low-cost audio measurement software and an external or internal USB sound card. They also will cover hardware enhancements to help you improve the quality of your measurements. You will learn how to use filters to get rid of noise shaping artifacts, Fliege notch filter to reduce distortion, and low or bandpass filters to clean up the generator signal at a specific frequency such as 1 kHz.

Alfred Rosenkränzer is a hardware development engineer with 30-plus years of experience in the field of analog circuit design and filter development. He began his career in 1984 and has since worked for various companies, including HP, Agilent, Verigy, Advantest, and Bosch. During his time at these companies, he focused on developing mixed signal cards for IC testers and became a specialist in analog circuit design and filters. Rosenkränzer is a contributor to the Elektor Mag, where he writes various electronics articles and reviews.
