One of the courses Microchip University is offering is "Hello FPGA," which introduces Microchip’s low-power FPGA portfolio, from their ultra-low-density devices to their newest mid-range-density PolarFire FPGA and PolarFire SoC families.

The Speakers
Tim McCarthy has over 40 years’ experience in digital logic design. McCarthy joined Microchip in 2018 and is responsible for FPGA customer training. McCarthy has a BEE from the University of Dayton and an MSEE from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
Clemens Valens is the Technical Manager of Elektor Labs. He holds a BSc in Electronics and an MSc in Electronics and Information Technology. Valens started working for Elektor in 2008 as editor in chief of Elektor France. He currently produces engineering tutorials and product reviews at Elektor.tv.
