25th Elektor Academy Webinar – Touchless Gesture Control Interface with Arduino!
on
We’ve reached our 25th webinar this month and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you! Made in collaboration with our partners element 14, this month’s webinar will demonstrate how to produce a Touchless Gesture Control Interface that’s capable of reliably providing 3-dimensional co-ordinates (X, Y and Z axes).
Published in Elektor Magazine’s May edition, based on work by Jean Noël Lefebvre and designed together with our Elektor LABS team, the 3D Pad uses capacitive sensing techniques to enable you to control something without physically touching the controller.
This technology has a myriad of domestic, professional and recreational applications limited only by your own creativity. This revolutionary piece of kit consists of a sandwich made up of a PCB called an electrode plane, an Arduino Uno and a shield with control software. We’re inviting you to witness the next step in person/machine interfaces, so don’t miss it; participating in the webinar is absolutely free-of-charge — all you have to do is register.
The webinar consists of a 30 minutes presentation, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Your presenters for May’s webinar are Clemens Valens (head of Elektor Labs) and Jean-Noël Lefebvre (designer of the 3D Pad Touchless Gesture Control Interface).
