Low-voltage halogen lights are becoming fashionable, which is not surprising when one considers the advantages of these small units. They ofter low colour temperature, relatively low heat radiation, low operating voltage, wide-angle light emission, illumination that is two to three times brighter than that of conventional lamps for the same energy consumption and far better efticiency than traditionallight sourees.
