This is a project that doesn’t require any soldering. It is a resistance calculator made from cardboard, which can be used to determine the value of a resistor from the coloured bands and vice versa.Building the calculator couldn’t be simpler. First scan and print this page (or cut it out), glue everything to a reasonably light piece of cardboard and then cut out the individual discs and the main body. Cut out the small windows in the body piece and then fold it along the heavy line, so that the markings are to the outside.
