Driving multiple servos via a microcontroller can be quite a problem for many people. Fortunately, a servo controller is available which can be controlled from a PC: the SSC-32.
The SSC-32 is an open-source controller which is connected to the serial port. It has 32 outputs, which makes it possible to control 32 servos simultaneously. Each output can also be used as a general purpose output with TTL levels. In addition, the microcontroller has four digital inputs and there is an extra socket for fitting an EEPROM.
